Our present Scout Hut has stood here since 1921 and was apparently already second hand when it was then aquired  from a club in Trull and moved here! It has served us well over the years and has great character that would be great to perpetuate into any new building. However our Group is growing, and the hut is aging, and we feel the time has come to build anew.

We are currently considering the possibility of rebuilding on the same site and are grateful to the PCC of St George's church for their kind permission for this nascent plan.

In particular we hope that any new building would offer:
Proposed Scout Hut Rebuild

Contact us
A larger space for meetings
Better sound proofing to benefit our neighbours
Improved storage for the Scout Group's equipment
Better vehicular access for users of the Church hall as the new building would be set further back
A safer modern building fit for use by our members of all ages
Better disabled access
A water supply, toilet and heating system (luxuries we have yet to aquire in the first 100 years of our existance!)
