Well done to both the Wilton teams who entered the District Cooking competition. In particular congratulations to Lee, Macauley and Daniel who gained second place overall, and the trophy for best dessert.

Congratulations to Sam, Oli and Ben who took home both the archery and the air rifle trophy from the District Field Shoot. Sam also produce the best individual archery score.

Well done to all the Scouts who took part in, and had fun with, the District Raft Race. Wilton took home 2 first places (for 2-man and 3+-man raft categories) as well as a second place. Well done to Ben and Benedict who came overall first place.

A huge well done to all 3 patrols who took part in the Somerset County Jamboree. The Lions gained a first class pendant, 'Eric' the District 1st place trophy, 3rd in the County (the County Comissioners trophy) and 2nd in the cooking competition. The Hawks also gained a first class pendant and 4th in the County (the Falklands trophy), and the Panthers achieved an Advanced Camping pendant. Well done also to Ben and Ben for coming 1st and 2nd place in the talent competition.

Well done to Dalton, Victoria, James, Ben, Sam and Clare who together achieved first place in the District 10-pin bowling competition. Particular congratulations to Sam who gave the best individual performance in the competiton. Well done to everyone who took part.

Congratulations to Dalton, Sam, George, Jake, Sîan and Charlie who together won the County Challenge. They competed against around 38 other patrols to bring home the winning trophy. Well done.

A big well done to Ben who gained himself a place on the Chief Scout's Survival camp. Ben was one of only 8 Scouts in the country to be selected, on merit, to learn survival skills from Bear himself.

Congratulations to the Lion patrol for winning the Gateway trophy at the Jamboree. They also brought home a 1st class pendant and came 2nd in the District and 4th overall in the County. The other patrols also did well with 2 Advanced camping pendants and a Good camping for the novices.

A close second place in the District 5-a-side football competition. Having won all their qualifying matches the 'A' team narrowly lost to Trinity in the final. Well done to everyone in both teams.

Victory in the District Swimming Gala! The team achieved a fantastic overall first place with many splendid individual achievements. Well done to the whole team.

A double whammy at the cooking competition! Well done to both the teams. Luke, James and Tom were awarded the prize for best teamwork while Matt, Balfour and Richard netted the best dessert trophy.
